Roxanna then started drawing and expressing her self using illustrations. She now has her A.S. in Photography and expects to get another degree in Graphic Design.
Some questions I asked Roxanna.

Q:What project are you currently working on?
A:"I am working on a project called "Color. I have also been working on making new art with my graphic design".

Q:What is the project about?
A:"This project is about Intersectional diversity.
I’m trying to show how we are all the same, and how we are different and that it is fine. In graphic design, I have been working on creating logos and some business cards for friends".

Q:How did your project start?
A:"It started by being a photography project in my class. The project was about taking pictures of the same thing but different. This type of photograph is called Typology".

Q:How many people do you expect to photograph?
A:"In the end, I expect to photograph at least one hundred people".

Q:What do you like to photograph and or illustrate? And why?
A:"I enjoy all types of photography, but I love taking portraits. I believe that I can bring a photograph to life. I like using natural light and or strobes when taking a portrait. When it comes to illustrations I take my class projects seriously and work from my heart. I make sure to put 200% of my effort in all I do".

Q:Have any magazines or exhibits have shown your work?
A:"So far I have only submitted my photographs in contests and galleries. My work has come out in Photographers Forum Magazine as an Honorable Mention for the year 2017. I have also shown my work in a couple of exhibits like "Viva La Muxer", Benefit Event for Las Photos Project".

Q:What were the reason why you got into photography and graphic design?
A:"Going through difficult situations I found comfort in taking photographs and drawing by being able to transmit different emotions, in photographs and illustrations. Till this day my love for creating art has not changed, but I do admit sometimes I do get stuck and find myself that I can't create anything".

Ending this interview Roxanna mentioned that making visual memories and meeting great people and other cultures inspires her to travel. Taking photographs allows her to remember her adventures in the world. She will continue to find her footing with graphic design.
